Welcome to

Rock Ridge Resort at Royal Blue

Sheila Westray was the original founder of Ride Royal Blue ATV Resorts in 2005 and was responsible for bringing ATV tourism to Campbell County.  In November of 2022, she sold Ride Royal Blue to Justin Jones and went off to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. However, it didn't take long to realize she wasn't the slowing down type and when the opportunity arose to purchase a much smaller, boutique-style campground called Rock Ridge Resort she jumped for it.

The intimate size of Rock Ridge Resort will get back to the extended family atmosphere where everyone who visits is a close friend and enthusiast of the sport.  She looks forward to expanding the amenities to include pickle ball, sand volleyball horseshoes, a commercial playground, and a large community firepit.

We look forward to your stay!

  • I just wanted to let you know everything was perfect for our stay at Volunteers Landing last weekend. It was our first time riding trails in Tennessee, and we could not be more impressed. The area and scenery had us smiling at every turn. It was nice coming back to your resort to relax and unwind. The beds we’re comfortable, the bathrooms clean and lots of room in the kitchen to prepare meals and entertain. We met Craig and he was almost like our personal tour guide/guest service coordinator. What a great guy, going above and beyond. The pool area was beautiful; such great detail and planning! We are planning on coming back next year. Thank you for providing us with a nice stay.

  • We had an amazing time. The gentleman on site was fantastic, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and trails. We will absolutely be back. Hopefully this fall we’ll make it back. I can’t wait. I’ve been telling everyone about this place and it’s definitely where you want to stay if you’re going ATVing anywhere near Pioneer, Tennessee. The entire campground was clean and in excellent shape, I highly recommend it!!

  • Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
